ALL members registering with Bashaw Minor Hockey will be registered by TeamSnap. NO registrations will be accepted over the phone, or email. AB Health Care Numbers, Legal Land Location, Blue Sign etc. are all required to register. In addition to this, any new members to Bashaw Minor Hockey Association will also be required to provide a photocopy of the childs birth certificate, as well as completing the Respect In Sport Parent Program in order for a new member to be registered with Hockey Alberta. Completed registration forms and full payment (including concession/fundraising fees) will be required at time of registration before your child can be registered with Hockey Alberta. No child will be considered registered until everything is fully completed.
Each family is required to work 15 volunteer hours in the concession. In addition to this, you are also required to work any shifts for your childs tournament, as well as time box & 50/50 as decided for your team’s games throughout the season. You are also required to help out with any other fundraising opportunities that may arise (e.g. Events, Casino, Provincial Tournaments, Raffle Tickets, etc.). Coaches, managers, and board members receive a 5 hour reduction in hours per position. This year the concession/fundraising fee is $300. As usual, once the year is complete and all levels of fundraising and concession work has been completed, you may receive an emt back for the amount of the fundraising fee if requested, or you may leave it with BMHA to forward on to use for the following year.
